Money stolen from Portsmouth church

Police are searching for suspects in a burglary from a church on County Street.

A jar of money was stolen from Devine Deliverance Church around 4:30 a.m. on June 29, according to the release. The church is located in the 1800 block of County Street.

The stolen jar of money was filled with approximately $500 in coins and dollar bills. The money was being collected for building renovations, according to the release.
